The older children at Faith Children's Village attended Copperbelt Christian Camp this past week. Five of our local churches were represented. It was a blessing to hear of many of our young people making decisions for Christ.
Nathan Washer, camp director sent out the following update:
Camp 2008 started with behind the scenes planning by leaders...

A workday had to be planned, tents put up...

The dining room was set up and seats arranged...
The kitchen utensils cleaned and food prepared

And then... They arrived!

The fun began...
Messages preached...
God gave us a great team this year. Thank you so much for praying. I would venture a guess that our staff grew more this year than any year so far. New nationals came on board in different positions and from the sound of things, God did a great work in many lives. There were salvation decisions, lives dedicated to Christ, music dealt with, and friends put away. May God be glorified as the churches are strengthened.
Pray that God will allow us to purchase the camp property when we get back to Zambia. There is so much more we could do with our own land. Thankfully, this year, the police were on our side. They did say that anyone outside the property after 7pm would be arrested. But the teens are never supposed to leave the property anyway, so that worked out okay. Thank you for praying for your ministry in Zambia.
By God’s Grace,
Nathan Washer for the team.
