We thank God that Christ was honored as the "Reason for the Season."
A special word of thanks to those who gave to make Christmas special for the children and staff at Faith Children's Village.
We used the available funds to purchase each child items that they were in need of - things like new sneakers and a pair of jeans or a skirt and "chitenge" (Brightly colored African cloth used as a wrap around skirt and a host of other things). In addition we were able to purchase a couple group gifts: a new bicycle for the boys and another for the girls and a treadle sewing machine.
A wonderful Christmas dinner complete with a Christmas cake was the highlight of the celebration!
