Zambia Prayer Update

Dear Friend,

As Robert Moffat sailed from England to Africa he wrote a letter to his parents in which he wrote:  "Oh, that I had a thousand lives and a thousand bodies! All of them should be devoted to no other employment but to preach Christ ... I have not repented in becoming a missionary, and, should I die in the march and never enter the field of battle, all would be well."

By God's grace Moffat's passion of "a thousand bodies... devoted to no other employment but to preach Christ" will become a reality through the men trained at Central Africa Baptist College!

"God has brought revival to my heart."

First semester is underway with 32 students attending classes.  The opening week of the semester was a block class on Pastoral Ethics with Dr. Charles Phelps (MBBC) and Stewardship with Pastor Ken Endean.  God used his Word to stir the hearts of our student body.

The owner of the Rhino Tavern located next to our college property is "praying about selling."  Don't ask...  Just pray that the owner will offer the property to CABC and that when that times comes, God will provide.  This property separates CABC campus from the main road leading to town.

All but 10 of our children at the Village are attending Faith Baptist Church School this year.  Some of these children still need school sponsorship.  Click here for more information.  Most of our children arrive at the village with little or now schooling.  What a blessing to see them learn!

Enless came to FCV unble to read or write, within a year she could do both and now she has advanced to her appropriate grade level!  To watch a video of Eneless reading click here.

Two projects are currently underway at the Village - the construction of staff housing and the completion of a new house for orphan children.  Joe Mbewe gives a video update here.

Please remember to pray for our ministry to the orphans.  To learn more about Faith Children's Village visit our website:  www.faithinzambia.com.

Thank you for your prayers for us!

Your Friends & Missionaries,

Philip & Lori Hunt
